Rob Cowen, Director

Rob is a bestselling writer and journalist. His book Common Ground has been hailed as ‘a seminal work redefining writing on people and place’. Shortlisted for the Wainwright, Portico and Jefferies prizes, it was third in a BBC poll to find Britain’s favourite nature book of all time and a ‘Book of the Year’ in The Times, The Independent and The Guardian.

Rob was previously an award-winning travel journalist and hotel reviewer for fifteen years, including spells as columnist at The Independent and The Telegraph. His writing on nature, place and travel has also appeared in The New York Times, Conde Nast Traveller and The Guardian and his essays and radio programmes have appeared on the BBC.

In 2021, Rob’s latest book The Heeding became the bestselling poetry debut of the year.

Theo Cooper, Director

In a diverse career defined by multi-disciplinary storytelling, Theo began as a journalist before working in the music industry and becoming a music and brands expert for London’s leading specialist music marketing agencies, managing award-winning campaigns for brands including Dazed & Confused, Converse, All Saints, Coca-Cola and Red Bull.

In 2010, Theo founded the UK’s first nationwide pop-up restaurant company, working with Michelin-star-level chefs to bring together stories of ingredients and suppliers with incredible food and drink. Theo curated dining experiences for clients as diverse as homeless charities, the royal family, Quintessentially, British Polo Day, Tom Dixon, Kinfolk and One Fine Stay.

As a DJ and producer, Theo plays clubs and festivals across Europe, USA and Asia, from Glastonbury to Burning Man.

Danielle Treanor, Client Services Director

Danielle is a highly experienced senior marketer and pr practitioner. Since beginning her career in arts marketing for Axis, national database of visual artists, she has worked for Sheffield Hallam and the University of Sussex, showcasing innovation and connecting cutting-edge research projects to global funding. At Lewisham College she oversaw a full rebrand and pioneered projects that offered creative platforms to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Her roles have included marketing consultant at London Zoo, City & Guilds, Universal Music Publishing and, most recently, on the Senior Management Team of The National Heritage Lottery Fund, working with the DCMS on major strategic heritage projects.

Danielle is also a singer and songwriter and has previously released numerous successful electronic and dance records. She is currently working on an Americana album project.

Euan Ferguson, Senior Content Manager

Euan is a journalist, writer and editor with 15 years’ experience across traditional and digital media, specialising in culture, travel, food and drink and sport. In the name of journalism, he’s hiked up Hampstead Heath with Will Self, been roasted by waiters at a rude restaurant in Finland, and cycled the toughest amateur race in Europe in 40-degree heat.

Euan’s non-fiction books including the bestselling Drink London and Craft Brew, which had seven translations. He was chief bars & pubs writer and senior contributing editor at Time Out London and deputy editor at easyJet Traveller magazine. He has worked on digital, print and publishing projects for clients as diverse as Mr Porter, Stylist, Lululemon and Olly Smith.

Euan recently finished an MA with distinction in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
